Great fish and chips. Always get lightly battered fish which is cooked to perfection. The 2 assistants are always very polite and friendly. I pass 2 other chippies to go to Nichols.

Nicely cooked fish in crispy batter, not greasy at all. Chips were nice and fresh. I ordered a standard size and a smaller size (it’s called senior’s fish & chips). Portions were so big we couldn’t finish them! Scraps were an extra bonus, was still crispy after 5 hours. Had food poisoning from not-fully-cooked fish from another fish & chip shop in June so was a bit wary but I was very happy with theirs. Wanted to try them for the past 6 months after reading the Google reviews and reviews from neighbours in my area on a Facebook group, and they were right! Friendly staff. Car park available and no yellow line in front of the shop so you won’t have a problem with parking.
